Oops! Emma Stone To Play Gwen Stacy In Spider-Man Reboot!

Sorry redheads. Looks like blondes have more fun even in a superhero flick!

Righty. Emma stone of 'Easy A' fame, has recently been cast opposite Andrew Garfield as Parker's love interest in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot, yet surprisingly not as Mary Jane.

Instead, the actress will bid farewell for now to her natural red locks as she is eyed to portray blonde college coed Gwen Stacy, Parker's original flame in the comic books. Columbia Pictures had announced the current developments on Tuesday.

Stone, 21, has previously starred in notable films such as Zombieland, Superbad and The House Bunny. Her forthcoming projects to watch out for include 'The Croods,' an animated flick from Dreamworks and 'Crazy, Stupid, Love,' which she co-stars with funnyman Steve Carell and critically acclaimed actor Ryan Gosling.

The fourth Spider-Man installment will be Stone's fourth Columbia Pictures feature. The film will reportedly hit theaters on a holiday in 2011.

Something doesn't quite fit in, but being equipped with tremendous talent-Emma could pull it off with her eyes closed. It's just that taking on the part of Mary Jane would suit her to a 'T.'
