James Franco On Front Page Cover As A Drag Queen!

Behold, the dude becomes a dudette!

Nope, this isn't one of James Franco's serious life choices but rather a bold expression of true artistic sense. The actor is seen on the front cover of Candy magazine's fall-winter issue in drag, courtesy of celebrity photographer Terry Richardson.

Franco appears on the cover smoking a cigarette while clothed in a woman's jacket and gloves with earrings and a necklace to match. He also sports a glossy brushed back hairdo, notable big black eyelashes and bright blue eyeshadow, cherry-red lips and rosy hue cheeks. Sorry fellas, he's taken.

This isn't the first time for the critically acclaimed actor to cross certain boundaries in role preferences, especially homosexuality. He portrayed Sean Penn's lover in the Oscar nominated 'Milk,' and recently appeared in 'Howl' to name a few.

But don't be quick in jumping to conclusions just yet, as Franco sheds light on the Advocate magazine why gay roles are somewhat appealing to his tastes.

Reveals Franco, "In this history of cinema, there are so many heterosexual love stories. It's so hammered, so done. It's just not that interesting to me. It's more interesting to me to play roles and relationships that haven't been portrayed as often."

Nobody dreams of being typecast in the world of Tinseltown. Taking risks is an essential ingredient to keep the fans guessing and yearning for more. And for James Franco, that's versatility in a nutshell.

Keep it up, ma'm. Uh, I mean sir!
