Mariah Carey Is A Mommy!

She's going to be hitting those high notes over the news!

Yesiree, Mariah Carey might be feeling those kicks already. The pop diva has disclosed that she's expecting her first baby with hubby Nick Cannon in a TV interview.


Says 40-year-old Carrey, "Yes we're pregnant, this is true. We're expecting in the spring." Attaboy, Nick.

The couple's ordeal is definitely a blessing in disguise. Carey previously suffered a miscarriage back in 2008 after she tied the knot with the America's Got Talent host in the Bahamas.

Carey tells Access Hollywood, "It's been tough, because I have been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy. At this point, there is no choice. I either talk or I hibernate." Talk all you want and let it out, sweetie.

At this point the sex of the child is unconfirmed, although the couple have chosen a name. Let me know if you lovebirds still need ideas.

As for the gender, it doesn't matter. A healthy bouncing bundle of joy is what we're after.
