America's favorite loony family The Simpsons, is soon to hit the TV screens once again on its big 23rd season.
The wacky five of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie will reprise their roles to tickle the funny bone of the masses in the most loved animated TV series that boasts of an astounding 515 episodes to date.
The Simpsons, which is also popular for spoofing known celebrities, made its debut back in December 1989, bagging a total of 27 Emmy Awards. It is considered the longest-running comedy in TV history.
And who else couldn't be more prouder than Executive producer Al Jean over The Simpsons colossal success.
"Like many 22-year-olds, The Simpsons is extremely happy remaining at home on Fox," says Al Jean, who hopes that the show "doesn't have to go into the real world for many years to come."
On its comeback, expect more laughs, adventures and spoofs. Katy Perry's controversial Sesame Street incident with Elmo will be relived, according to reports.
So what you waiting for? Let's all do the Bartman!
