And now, 'Inception' star Leonardo DiCaprio's alleged attacker Aretha Wilson, has pleaded no contest to assault with a deadly weapon on Friday.
Wilson, 40, has been charged with smashing a wine glass onto the face of DiCaprio, during a Hollywood Hills party back in 2005. Her two-year sentence will be handed down this month under a plea deal with the L.A. District Attorney.
As of now, Wilson has already spent 330 days in the slammer back home in Canada before she was surrendered by authorities to the United States for trial. Yet it's still quite misty whether she will receive credit for her time, according to Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg.
One thing is crystal clear though, and that's Wilson setting foot on that good old Canadian soil, but not in the near future. Her Defense attorney disclosed to reporters outside the courtroom that he expects his client to serve prison time before flying back home.
Just let justice take its natural course. That stunt she pulled off could have ended DiCaprio's rosy career. Unless Hollywood would still be okay with scarface.
