Spacey, gifted with the art of impersonation, mimicked De Niro's trademark smirk before revealing the latter's identity on Tuesday, describing him as being "universally acknowledged as one of the greatest actors of all time."
De Niro has already bagged a Golden Globe award in the past for his performance in 'Raging Bull' in the drama category, besides eight nominations in both comedy and drama. The actor has also won two Academy Awards for the mafia classic 'Godfather: Part II' and 'Raging Bull,' not to mention also taking home the Kennedy Center award.
But it doesn't stop there. De Niro is also recognized for his outstanding works as producer and director though his own production company Tribeca Productions. He was responsible for putting up the Tribeca Film Festival following the renown Sept. 11, 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attacks to aid tragedy-stricken lower Manhattan.
