Michael Jackson's Latest Album 'Disrespectful' Says Will.i.am!
The great departed still gets the final say!
And Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am makes this quote crystal clear, as he refers to Michael Jackson's current album release as 'disrespectful' to the late king of pop.
"Whoever put it out and is profiting off of it, I want to see how cold they are," lashes out the musician. "To say that what MJ contributed during his life wasn't enough. He wasn't any ordinary artist. He was a hands-on person. To me it's disrespectful."
Akon, who collaborated with Michael on the single 'Hold My Hand,' contradicts Will.i.am's sentiments, insisting that the purpose of the album is to continue the legacy left by his pop greatness.
"I don't see anything disrespectful about it," says the singer. "These albums would have come out if was alive or dead."
Will.i.am on the other hand, had also previously collaborated with Michael before he passed away, yet those tapes remain 'buried' with the legend.
"Michael Jackson songs are finished when Michael says they're finished," he adds.
However this feud may settle, let's just give tribute to the greatest artist to ever walk the earth. Peace, MJ!
