Filmmaker Zack Snyder Takes On Superman!
The man of steel will rule the skies again anytime soon.
So is it a bird or a plane? Well one thing for sure, talented filmmaker Zack Snyder will soar to new heights as he is chosen by Warner Bros. to revive the Superman franchise in a reboot during an announcement today.
Snyder, 44, has already wowed audiences worldwide with his breathtaking visual wizardry in hits like 300, Watchmen, and the recent animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.
Another mega powerhouse, Christopher Nolan, who has also scored tremendously with box office monsters such as The Dark Knight and this summer's Inception, is tasked in producing the man of steel along with wife and partner Emma Thomas. Also in charge of production is Dark Knight's Charles Roven and Zack's wife and producing partner, Deborah Snyder.
The script lies in the hands of creative genius David S. Goyer (Batman Begins), which Zack will eventually bring to life on the big screen. The film is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2012.
Mind-blowing, that's all I could say. You've got the aces on board this colossal project so there's no room for failure. The previous Superman flick has been buried six feet under, so make us die-hards proud with this one, fellas. Please!
