When the going gets tough, the tough get going.
Not actually a suitable intro to describe the current marital woes plaguing Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, but it's a motto the couple has embraced to stay afloat that scandalous swamp.
Kutcher, 32, and 47-year-old Moore are presently taking time out in Israel to focus on reviving their 5-year marriage amidst constant rumors of infidelity, not to mention the recent hype of a threesome. Despite the turbulence, the spouses show their optimism on Twitter:
"Sharing Love & Light while in Israel. Asking 4 the energy 2 forge bonds with our similarities & find compromise in our differences," Tweets the former Punk'd host.
I'm no marriage guru but at this stage, openness and honesty is a critical ingredient to possible healing. As mere mortals we fall short and admitting our shortcomings may even work wonders in the relationship, although I'm not pointing fingers here.
It takes two to tango, yet those two must have the willingness to do so.
