Katy Perry: Too Much For Sesame Street!

Little kiddies, close your eyes.

Looks like there won't be a sunny day for Katy Perry on Sesame Street. The pop princess reportedly alarmed parents with her taped performance on the popular children's show on YouTube.

In the video clip, Perry sports a cleavage-flashing green yellow dress, as she performs an improvised version of her hit single Hot N Cold together with Elmo. This has sparked several protests, causing the removal of the said material from Sesame Street's official YouTube page.



Reveals a statement released by Sesame Workshop, "In light of the feedback we've received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on YouTube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of 'Sesame Street,' which is aimed at preschoolers."

Guess there is a cause of concern. You don't want to be polluting those young innocent minds or for them toddlers to be discovering puberty this early. But frankly, I don't think Katy's suit was that provocative like her other outfits. A far cry compared to Miss Piggy!

Yet Sesame Street has built a colossal monument educating youngsters and there is a reputation on the line. Still, Katy gets an 'A' for effort.

I foresee a Lady Gaga appearance. Just skip the meat dress!
