And this holds true for Jennifer Lopez. Reports surfaced that the Latina star is set to rake in the big green as the new American Idol judge.
According to Deadline Hollywood, J-lo will receive a handsome amount to the tune of $12 million for her precious critique in Idol's tenth season. Ka-ching!
However, reports has it that the singer/actress' original asking price is $15 million, plus a deal that grants privileges of movie and television pilots. Things failed to materialize following alleged threats from Lopez to pull out if her demands weren't met.
Reveals another Deadline Hollywood source, "I think it was just positioning. In the end, she didn't turn up her nose up at $12 million. I would have been surprised if she had walked away." I'd bite into those smackeroos anytime!

At this point, it has not yet been confirmed whether Lopez and other judge hopeful Steven Tyler will join forces with Idol pioneer Randy Jackson at the start of the 10th season.
