He's got tons of followers, without a doubt. But don't expect Justin Timberlake to reign supreme as the next social networking guru.
Righty. While probably even your great grandparents may be constantly re-tweeting loved ones, Timberlake is a far cry from the character he portrays on the upcoming Facebook movie.
During a press conference of The Social Network, the 29-year-old singer/actor revealed to having a lack of know-how when it comes to internet technology, specifically Twitter of Facebook.
"I'm ridiculously stupid when it comes to social networking," says the superstar. JT also adds that he's "three years clean (from the internet)," when asked if he has any previous internet obsessions.
Despite admitting his tech-flaws, Timberlake is also quick to highlight the importance of social networking sites, particularly when it comes to the level of user control.
"Facebook is a party and you're throwing it," he says.
I tip my hat off to the man. This way, he won't have to know what his ex-girlfriends have been up to lately. Now where did that come from?
Use social networking and use it wisely!
