Yes, you can run but you certainly can't hide from your taxes.

Actor Wesley Snipes is getting his just desserts for not paying up. The 'Blade' star has been reportedly given orders by a federal judge to do time in prison.

According to sources, Snipes has been denied a request for another trial and is required to surrender immediately to the real U.S. Marshals service or the Beaureau of Prisons, to serve his three year sentence. Those heroics won't help in this scenario, sport.

The 48-year-old action hero and real life martial artist was handed down the verdict back in Feb. 1, 2008 to three years in jail for failure to pay accumulated taxes on $38 million worth of earnings, yet was given temporary freedom on bond pending appeal.

Despite efforts on the Snipe's defense attorneys to seek a new trial, the request failed to get an approval from U.S. District Court Judge William Terrel Hodges, who says that the actor's time has run out. And luck as well.

"The Defendant Snipes had a fair trial," says Hodges. "He has had a full, fair, and thorough review of his conviction and sentence by the court of Appeals; and he has had a full, fair, and thorough review of his present claims, during all of which he has remained at liberty. The time has come for the judgement to be enforced."

Three years is sufficient time for reflection, buddy.
