Ne-Yo Becomes A Daddy!

R&B sensation Ne-Yo enters fatherhood for the first time as his girlfriend Monyetta Shaw gave birth to a bouncing baby girl on Friday in an Atlanta hospital.


The baby, whose name is Madilyn Grace Smith, had since been due in January. The overwhelmed 28-year old singer speaks out his newfound joy over the arrival of his litle girl.

"I've been in love before but this feels like nothing I've ever felt," Ne-Yo says. "Like I'm in love for the first time." I know how it feels, pal.

According to an Atlanta radio station, Ne-Yo was attending to a charity event for his foundation when he learned that his girlfriend was expecting at any time. Luckily, he made it in the nick of time to witness Shaw give birth.

Yup, Madilyn will surely enjoy daddy's lullabies. Don't know about his diaper-changing skills, though.
