Where there's a time for mourning, comes a time as well for rejoicing!
And that describes ecstatic couple John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston, who welcomed a gift from the heavens in the form of baby son Benjamin, on Tuesday night in a Florida hospital.
According to a spokesperson for the celebrity pair, "Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully." The newest family member reportedly tipped the scales in at 8 pounds and 3 ounces. Start passing those cigars around, buddy.
Not only were Travolta, 56, and Preston, 48, preoccupied in preparations for the big delivery date but Daughter Ella Bleu as well, who takes over as the eldest child in the family since 16-year-old autistic brother Jett passed away in January 2009 due to seizure.
"I've been cleaning out everything in the house," says Preston. "Ella has been helping too. She's looking forward to being a big sister."
Above everything else, give thanks to the one who gives life. Amen!
