Cronin was first diagnosed with the disease, namely, acute myelogenous leukemia back in 2005. It had been a constant battle ever since, but that didn't stop the musician from pursuing other doors of opportunity.
In 2007, he starred in the VH1 reality series Mission: Man Band, along with former boy banders like Color Me Badd's Bryan Abrams, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, and N Sync's Chris Kirkpatrick. The show revolved around the quartet's struggles in forming their own band.
