John Mayer: No More Twitter!

What's life without your favorite social networking site? Probably normal, at least for John Meyer.


Righty, folks. Talk has it that the voice behind Your Body is a Wonderland shall Tweet no more, and has closed his Twitter account.

Associated Press reports from Mayer's spokesperson that the rocker had given up on the site because his Battle Studies Tour is at a close and plans a return to the studio. The singer had a legion of more than 3.7 million Twitter followers. That includes me, buddy.

However, Mayer hasn't disregarded his countless die-hards. He shall continue to communicate with fans through his blog, an instrumental tool that was also used to hurl a counter attack at the Huffington Post for speculating a reunion with ex flame, Jennifer Aniston.

Okay, everybody deserves a peace of mind at some point-star or no star. Social networking sites pave the way to close ties but can also create global mayhem if misused and abused. Yup, you make a mistake with that Tweet or Facebook post, you are so done for!

So whatever will make the man sleep at night, he's certainly entitled to that. As for me, I'm no Twitter quitter, but don't expect me to check everyone's status 24-7!
