Angelina Jolie Visits Troubled Pakistan!
Who says Hollywood stars are all glitz and glamor?
For UN goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie, the comforts of Tinseltown take a back seat, where making a difference for the needy is what matters most.
The Salt star went out of her way to visit homeless victims in calamity-stricken Pakistan, following the catastrophe brought about by the recent floods.
Jolie, 35, has met with several distressed locals who had suffered the loss of loved ones, including their homes after nature's wrath on the country.
The Oscar-winner poured out her compassion in an interview with reporters after visiting a refugee camp, saying, "I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all the people in need in Pakistan."
Miss Tomb Raider also appealed to the nations of the world to reach out and provide additional aid.
What the world needs right now is a legion of Angelina Jolies.
