Desperate Housewives Nicollete Sheridan: Abused Or Not Abused?

Funny how time can alter one's statements.

Former Desperate Housewives star Nicollete Sheridan's abuse claims against the show's creator, Marc Cherry, seems to be taking its toll.

In a flashback, Sheriden filed a $20 million suit in April of last year, claiming that Cherry "Forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head." This was then revised a month later, the actress saying that it was actually "a light tap."

Now brace yourself for the upgraded version, folks. The actress has eventually decided to lessen the impact of her lawsuit against Cherry, ABC, and Touchstone Television. That means her claims for emotional and physical damages are off the list.

At this point, ABC is not requesting for any mental or physical evaluation on Sheridan's part. And as stipulated within the L.A. Superior Court on Friday, she can still push through with the lawsuit, minus the damages however.

Now do I sense some christmas spirit in the air, or a lack of credibility? Whatever the case may be, only Nicollete Sheriden knows best.
