Jennifer Lopez made sure that Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais would step on the breaks with that wise-cracking mouth of his. Let me guess, connections?
The American Idol judge reportedly threatened the host backstage, in an attempt to silence the latter from making any embarrassing remarks about her. That's so "untouchable" of you, cupcake.
Says Lopez of Gervais, "He's very gutsy, it takes a lot of guts to get up there and make the comments he made and go for that type of comedy. I'm sure it was all in good fun. But in the room, being in the room, it was like, eek.."
So what exactly were those "sweet nothings" J-lo whispered in Gervais' ear?
"Listen! I will kill you, you understand, I am from New York, my husband fights, we both fight, we will beat you up after the show." Yup, that did the trick.
And although the outspoken comical host got away with J-lo's spending habits, the curvy Latino beaut didn't mind.
I wonder if she does the same thing on Idol.
