Christian Bale Scores At The 68th Golden Globes And Other Winners!

A K.O. of a performance, folks.

Christian Bale delivers the big one at the 2011 Golden Globe on Sunday, winning the best supporting actor award for 'The Fighter.'

Bale, who plays former boxer-turned drug addict Dicky Ekland, edged out strong contenders such as Michael Douglas for the prestigious award. The Welsh born actor co-stars with Mark Wahlberg in the David O. Russell- directed flick.

Besides the personal accolade, the film also garnered an impressive six nominations, including the best drama category. Notice the physical transformation of Bale as he breathed life into Ekland. If you think that's something, check out 'The Machinist.'

Other major winners of the grand evening include Katey Segal for best actress in a drama series, Annette Benning, best actress in a motion picture comedy or musical, Claire Danes portrayal of an autistic woman in 'Temple Grandin,' Al Pacino for his portrayal of Jack Kevorkian in 'You Don't Know Jack.'

Legendary Hollywood tough guy Robert De Niro was also presented the Cecil B. DeMille award for his contribution to numerous film classics.

The night of the stars. Sorry I missed the red carpet, people.
