A washed out alcoholic in Leaving Las Vegas? This one's the real deal.

Just what Nicolas Cage needs to give his waning movie career the needed boost. That's to keep the hungry public tuned in.

The Oscar winning actor reportedly caught the attention of authorities following a drunken altercation with his wife on a street in the city's French Quarter on a late Friday evening.

According to New Orleans Police spokesman Garry Flot in a written statement, Cage, 47, was booked on grounds of disturbing the peace and public drunkenness as well as suspicion of domestic abuse battery. He was taken into custody at around 11:30 p.pm. on Friday.

Flot further narrates in the statement that Cage and his wife were engaged in an argument while standing in front of a residence that the 'Ghostrider' star claimed to be the property the couple were renting.

A disagreement eventually led to Cage grabbing the spouse's "upper arm and pulled her to what he believed was the correct address." The actor also vented his anger towards nearby vehicles, hitting cars and even attempted to enter a taxi cab.

The said commotion alarmed an officer who drove towards the couple amidst bystanders and commanded the obviously intoxicated Cage out of the cab. This provoked the actor to begin screaming, which led to authorities escorting him to Central Lock-up.

Flot discloses that despite Cage's alleged mistreatment towards his wife, there were no visible injuries on the latter. Cage, meanwhile, is scheduled to appear in court on the 31st of May.

Jon Bon Jovi's posh pad was burglarized Wednesday, almost saying goodbye to $100,000 worth of jewelry.

The culprit, 21-year-old Nicholas Tracy of Beachwood, NJ, was caught red handed inside the rocker's $22 million estate just along the Navesink River.

According to reports, Bon Jovi's crib was only part of Tracy's list of luxurious targets. Former American Eagle Outfitters chief George Kolber was among these neighbors, with a whopping $7.66 million worth of stolen jewelry back in March 14.

Sources further reveal that the young crook was nabbed by authorities after tripping an alarm at a Middletown Township home. He was discovered hiding inside a bathroom.

To sum it up, Tracy was charged with a total haul of $500,000 worth of valuables in four separate burglaries.
Not bad, but not good enough.

Bail was reportedly set at $100,000. Going higher? Doesn't matter.

As as result, Pradeep Manukonda, 31, was issued a restraining order after which Zuckerberg filed legal papers claiming the culprit attempted to "follow", surveil and contact him using language threatening his personal safety," as well as the safety of his sister and girlfriend.

The legal documents futher state that Pradeep was intercepted by Facebook security at Zuckerberg's home on January 24, just when the latter was approaching the front steps.

And despite a verbal warning from authorities, Mark recalls that this didn't stop Pradeep from trying to contact him through mail, and even sending flowers backed up by a hand-written letter to his home on January 28.

Pradeep wrote in one of his spine-tingling Facebook messages: "Please help me, then I am ready to die for you. Please understand my pain."

I like? Mark doesn't.

Controversial actor Charlie Sheen was hospitalized Thursay morning due to excruciating stomach pains.

Sheen's rep Stan Rosenfield reveals in a statement, "all I know is what I was told - that he was having severe abdominal pains."

According to reports, the 'Two and a Half Man' star's tormenting ordeal was actually a result of a condition called hiatal hernia, which may require surgery if complications arise.

The condition, as defined by Mayo Clinic, is present when "part of your stomach pushes upward through your diaphragm. Your diaphragm normally has a small opening (hiatus) that allows your food tube (esophagus) to pass through on its way to connect to your stomach. The stomach can push up through this opening and cause a hiatal hernia."

Because of this unfortunate event, the production of 'Two and a Half Men' will reportedly resume on Monday.

Renown vocalist/songwriter Teena Marie was found dead in her California home on Sunday. She was 54.

According to her manager Mike Gardner, Marie was discovered lifeless in her sleep by her daughter.

No confirmation has been made yet regarding the actual cause of death, although Marie's publicist, Jeter, relates that it was a month ago when the singer lost consciousness due to a grand mal seizure.

Saturday marked the final moments shared between Marie and Jeter, in what the latter described as a "great conversation." The legend was reportedly ecstatic about her upcoming show in Atlanta this week. A performance that would never come.

Marie made her music debut at age 19 and popularly known for singles like 'I'm a Sucker for Your Love,' 'Lovergirl,' and 'Portugese Love.' Cathy Hughes, the founder of the broadcasting company Radio One once said, "Teena was a black voice trapped in a white body."

Dawn Holland, the so-called accuser of Lilo, was terminated after she spoke publicly of the 'Mean Girls' actress regarding the ugly incident. Betty Ford refrained from showing their support, leading to her demise.

According to reports, Holland went overboard by disrespecting the patient's privacy by exposing the said altercation with the troubled celebrity on an interview with TMZ.

The Betty Ford website presents an excerpt of the statement which reads, "Regrettably, on December 21, 2010, one of our employees violated employees confidentiality by talking to the media and by disclosing a privileged document. That employee has been terminated by the Betty Ford Center."

Funny how time can alter one's statements.

Former Desperate Housewives star Nicollete Sheridan's abuse claims against the show's creator, Marc Cherry, seems to be taking its toll.

In a flashback, Sheriden filed a $20 million suit in April of last year, claiming that Cherry "Forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head." This was then revised a month later, the actress saying that it was actually "a light tap."

Now brace yourself for the upgraded version, folks. The actress has eventually decided to lessen the impact of her lawsuit against Cherry, ABC, and Touchstone Television. That means her claims for emotional and physical damages are off the list.

At this point, ABC is not requesting for any mental or physical evaluation on Sheridan's part. And as stipulated within the L.A. Superior Court on Friday, she can still push through with the lawsuit, minus the damages however.

Mystery unfolds in Las Vegas.

Showgirl Debbie Flores-Narvaez's recent disappearance has rattled headlines and shocked family members.

Narvaez, a go-go dancer at Palm Hotel's Rain Nightclub and also a dancer in Luxor's adult show Fantasy, was last seen heading towards the residence of ex-beau Blu Griffith on December 12.

Reveals devastated sister Celeste Flores-Narvaez to the press, "I can't make anything of this right now. It's not her. It's not her to go missing. It's not her to take a small vacation like this."

The 31-year-old brunette beaut was supposedly scheduled to perform at Fantasy the following day but never showed. Her maroon Chevy was soon discovered by authorities abandoned in Northeast Las Vegas.

Lady Gaga's upcoming Sunday concert in Paris has taken a standstill because of snow. Back in October, her Paris shows also failed to push through due to nationwide strikes and other hassles.

Now, huge trucks are forbidden by officials to travel through the Ile de France region which includes Paris, thanks to the weather. And more woes for Lady G and her 28 trucks containing concert equipment.

"I am furious and devastated," tweets the phenomenal pop icon. "It's unfair to my fans and to me."

If that wasn't enough, the Poker Face singer says that two of her employees were also detained by authorities trying to get into Paris to perform.

The concert is reportedly rescheduled for Tuesday.

It's not au revoir Paris yet, madame Gaga.

A powerhouse duet to end 2010 with a big bang!

That exactly was on the agenda of rap stars Eminem and Lil Wayne on December 18, as they joined forces in a mind-blowing performance on NBC's comedy show, 'Saturday Night Live.'

The collaboration of the two hip-hop moguls was a live rendition of 'No Love,' backed up by a complete band amidst a screaming audience inside the building. Eminem sported a cap, t-shirt, jeans and a brown leather bomber, while Lil Wayne was comfy with a white t-shirt, jeans and a White Sox baseball cap.

Reveals DJ Scoob Doo to MTV News, "The energy in the building is historical and its extra special to see everybody fight for position backstage to see Lil Wayne take over 'SNL.'"

After the duet, Eminem took center stage and delivered a solo performance with 'Not Afraid,' alongside D-12 and the band. Lil Wayne followed with an accoustic version of his recently released '6'7' single.

Neil Patrick Harris realized that he was a little trigger-happy with those adjectives of his.

Recently, the former Doogie Howser star called soap actor Eric Braeden a "dirtbag," for cancelling a cameo role on the CBS hit comedy 'How I Met Your Mother.'

Braeden, 69, reportedly agreed to a cameo appearance before pulling out of the show. Harris in return, tweeted Friday to a multitude of followers, saying, "We've cast with Ray Wise, a fantastic actor who makes any part 'substantial.' Super excited to welcome him to the family!"

This prompted Braeden, who is recovering from hip surgery, to air his side of the story.

"Everyone knows that I'm exhausted," Braeden tells Entertainment Weekly. "I was about to appear on a show for two lines, because that's what it amounted to."

He also felt that Harris, 37, was making a big deal out of the whole thing.

"His choice of words bothered me," he said. It seems to me like a young whippersnapper, having seen himself in a few covers, who's received a few awards, is now suddenly suffering from the first signs of hubris."

Harris refrained from retaliating, and tweeted an apology when he discovered about Braeden's previous surgery.

"Now I feel bad for the D-bag comment," he says.

As expected, 'The Social Network' takes home the big bacon, being named the the best
picture of 2010, by The Toronto Film Critics Association besides receiving special honors from Los Angeles and New York film critics groups.

The Facebook flick also features other winners, including David Fincher who was awarded best director, while Jesse Eisenberg bagged the best actor title for his portrayal of Facebook founder and young billionaire Mark Zuckerberg. Best supporting actor went to Armie Hammer.

Says film critic for McClean's magazine Brian Johnson, "We appreciate what it represents in popular American film culture, an intelligent moral drama told from multiple viewpoints with a complex protagonist who is neither hero no villain."

It would be interesting as to what the real Mark Zuckerberg has to say about the paramount success the film is reaping. After all, he wasn't actually thumbs up on the way he was depicted in the story.

Still, the film paves the way for aspiring young tycoons out there, righty?

Yup, David Hasselhoff should've consulted the Osbournes first for good measure. His reality show, 'The Hasselhoffs' ran for a brief two episodes before it was axed.

The 30-minute show, which focuses on the 'Knight Rider' and 'Baywatch' hunk guide his daughters Hayley and Taylor Ann in their showbiz careers, debuted on December 5 with an audience of 718,000 but would take a plunge to 505,000 on its second episode. The network eventually announced the show's cancellation.

The 58-year-old actor was even confident of the show's outcome in a recent interview with PopEater columnist Rob Shuter on his HDNet show, 'Naughty But Nice.'

"We face life head on," says Hasselhoff. "Our family is about honesty. We are not trying to be famous. We are famous, The show shows how hard it is to stay on top and that's what I want to show the world." Righty, that was a lot to show.

The title should've been The Hasselhoffs crazy adventures. Now that would've gone the distance!

Pop singer Ke$ha debuts this year with a bang and becomes Billboard's Hot 100 artist of 2010, including the top new artist. Uh, Lady who?

The 23-year-old funky sensation from Nashville broke into the music scene in January with her first album 'Animal,' featuring the catchy electro-pop 'Tik Tok' that grabbed the top spot in that same month.

Says Ke$ha, "Sometimes I need to remind myself that 'Tik Tok' only went No. 1 in January. Because it kind of feels like it was 17 years ago."

Nielsen Soundscan reports that 'Animal' has sold 1.1 million copies to date, with three singles listed on Billboard's Hot 100 year-ender. This was followed up by the nine-track mini-ablum 'Cannibal,' just released last month.

The singer and 'Burlesque' star is reportedly outraged over racy photos of herwhich has recently surfaced on the web, and singles out a computer hacker as the culprit.

Sources reveal that the photos were illegally acquired from the account of Aguilera's personal stylist and posted on several internet sites. Pictures show the singer/actress striking a pose and baring a lot of skin.

There are also lingering speculations that her ex-hubby Jordan Bratman may be behind the whole thing, as the estranged couple's parting of ways months ago wasn't exactly smooth.
